Morinville RCMP attended a robbery at Red-Nex Bar and Grill in Morinville Wednesday morning at 11:10 a.m. Police say a lone male, wearing blue safety coveralls, a black balaclava and yellow hard hat, entered the business and demanded money from the lone staff member. Although the suspect did not produce a weapon, the staff member believed the lone male to have a weapon.
The male, described as 6-feet tall with light hair and light eyes, left out the back door and fled towards 100 Street in Morinville.
Although RCMP did not include images in their media release, a photo of the suspect made the social media rounds shortly after the incident.
Morinville News obtained additional images from the business’ owner, who said the robber took a small sum of money. No injuries were reported in the incident.
