Morinville RCMP arrest and Charge four youth for theft from vehicles

On June 13th, 2015 at approximately 12:45 am Morinville RCMP received a call from a concerned citizen regarding suspicious persons in the Sturgeon River Valley area near St Albert. Through extensive patrols, the Morinville RCMP located four suspects in the area. Stolen property from victims vehicles were located on the suspects.

The Sturgeon River Valley Subdivision area has been prone to this type of crime in the past. The Morinville RCMP are grateful to the general public for making calls to police to report suspicious activity that they observe.

The four young offenders have been charged for theft from a motor vehicle and possession of property obtained by crime. All four young offenders are required to attend Youth Court on August 20th, 2015 in Morinville, Alberta. Names of the charged youth cannot be released pursuant to the Youth Criminal
Justice Act.
