Morinville RCMP seek public’s assistance to locate armed man
Morinville, Alberta – The Morinville RCMP detachment is seeking the public’s assistance in their search for a 31 year-old man whom they believe may be armed and dangerous and is wanted on outstanding warrants.
Police have issued warrants for the arrest of Edward Arthur VALLEE on charges of Mischief, Possession of Stolen Property and Breach of Conditions. It is believed that he may be in possession of, or have access to, 11 firearms which were stolen from a residence in the Morinville area. He is a person of interest in several other Morinville RCMP investigations involving Arson, Break and Enter, Theft and Possession of Stolen Property.
VALLEE is described as follows:
– a Caucasian male, 31 years of age
– 185.5 cm (6’ 1”) tall
– approximately 90.7 kg (200 lbs) in weight
– short dark brown hair or shaved head
– blue eyes
– usually clean-shaven but may have grown facial hair
– tattoos: black flames around right wrist and forearm
– tattoos: what appears to be a tattoo of “stained glass” on left forearm
When last seen, VALLEE was believed to be driving a stolen 2001 Blue Dodge Ram pickup truck bearing Alberta license plate, DEZ-179. He is known to frequent the areas in and around Morinville, Fort Saskatchewan and north Edmonton.
The public is asked not to approach Edward VALLEE if he is seen, given that police consider him to be dangerous and, potentially, he could be armed. If anyone should see VALLEE, please call 911 immediately and provide police with as much detail about him possible, such as: his location; his appearance; his clothing; and a description of any vehicle he may be seen driving or riding in as a passenger.
