Peacefully and surrounded by her family, mom passed away on March 12, 2016 at the age of 86.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sons: Ben (Stéphane), Rick, and George (Corinne); daughters: Cecile (Len) Cuku, and Lorraine Glasel; grandchildren: Dennis, Sherry, Duane (Natasha) Cuku, Brad, Jeff (Kim), Cameron, Haley, Bryce Van De Walle, and Sasha White; great grandchildren: Ashlyn, Parker, Lauryn, Cole, Chaz, Cash Cuku, Austin, Brooke Van De Walle, and Karter Eaton.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Walter; sisters / brother-in-law: Claire / Rolland Demers, Antoinette / Tigo Larose; brother / sister-in-law: Remi / Lynn Préfontaine; parents: Leon / Marguerite Préfontaine; in-laws: Augusta / Benonie Van De Walle; sister-in-law / brother-in-law: Frances / William Flynn; and other relatives and friends.
A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 21, 2016 at St. Albert Catholic Parish, 7 St. Vital Avenue, St. Albert, Alberta. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at St. Albert Catholic Parish.
