Approximately 178 students in seven grades performed 15 musical numbers at the joint MCHS / Georges H. Primeau Spring Concert June 7. The annual event packed the Morinville Community Cultural Centre as parents came out to see what their children had accomplished throughout the year.

GHP teacher Nicole Baker conducted the Grades 6, 7 and 8 bands in what would be her last concert at the school. She will teach at MCHS in the new year. Corinna Cormier conducted the MCHS Band of Grade 9 to 12 musicians.

Music performed included pieces adjudicated at the recent Rotary Music Festival in St. Albert, as well as songs ranging from current hits to movie ad TV themes, and a bit of Ozzy Osbourne throw in.
