Edmonton Garrison issued a public service announcement Wednesday afternoon.
Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians) will be firing blank tank rounds within Edmonton Garrison Thursday.
Locals in the Garrison vicinity can expect to hear the firing of four blank tank rounds between approximately 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Thursday. Similar firings took place Wednesday morning as well.
This will temporarily increase noise levels in the immediate areas surrounding the Garrison.
Appropriate emergency responders are aware of the anticipated noises.
