The Annual Morinville & District Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament was held July 11 with more than 80 participants taking part. On-Track Railway Operations Ltd. was naming sponsor, and JLG Industries Inc. sponsored the breakfast.
A variety of activities took place at the holes to keep the event fun. This included the Town of Morinville mini putt and giveaways on Hole 2 and a chance to win a trip to Hawaii from Destiny Travel on Hole 4. Hole-in-one sponsor Morinville Sobeys offered up a $10,000 gift certificate and Linda Getzlaf offered up $5000 at her hole-in-one opportunity.
