Letter: Former Morinville resident and Endomarch Team member surprised at Edmonton Expo

Hello Mr. Dafoe,

A few months ago my Worldwide Endomarch Team wrote you to share the news of a hospital being built in Africa that will be named after me. I was humbled this news was shared with the community I grew up in and hope it may inspire the youth of Morinville to know they can achieve wonderful things in the world to create positive change if they have the courage to dream big.

This past weekend I was invited to address the crowd after the costume contest to share the ways popular cosplayer Roger Perzan and I have been partnering to create awareness for endometriosis all over the world with Cosplay. I believed I was there to share how my parents, Morinville residents Kerry and Wanitta LaPerle, will be honoured in Uganda with the naming of a theatre in the hospital for them, and a ward will be named after Roger Perzan. To my surprise, something very special happened and I wanted to share it with you since you have been so kind to our cause.

A Wish Noted,
Brandi CK La Perle
