Our Morinville: The Week in Photos

Local Photographer Don Boutilier sent us the photo above and below, taken during his travels around the area.

In this segment of It’s YOUR Business, we talk to Jodi from the Flower Stop in Morinville about a relatively new product line they are carrying. Fat Paint is a chalk paint that is used to make furniture craftwork easy.

One of the newer exhibits at the Mussee Morinville Museum is a recreation of the one-room school that was common in Rural Alberta right up until the 1960s. There—students of various ages and academic abilities were taught in one room by one teacher.

The Fish Hatchery delivered 500 Tiger Trout at Heritage Lake on Wednesday morning. On Sept 14, they delivered 6000 fish at Cardiff, 5500 were Rainbow trout and 500 were Tiger. – Lucie Roy Photo
