After more than six years of operating as a home-based business, Rentz & Rover Pet Services has opened a storefront location in downtown Morinville.
Located next door to CX Shooters, the business offers day and overnight care, pet check-ins and cat sitting, dog walking, yard clean up, and a variety of pet wellness services.
“We’re just really excited to be opening a daycare, and we’re ready to serve all the pets and people of the community,” said owner Bonnie Rentz at their grand opening on Friday, Oct 7.
Rentz & Rover brings the same philosophy they have held for more than six years in business to their storefront location.
“We love pets. Life is busy. Life is busy for pet parents, and they don’t always have time to walk the dog, make sure the yard is clean, and do all the little things other than love your pet,” she said. “I think that’s where we come in.
“We want to make sure the pet is properly stimulated in the day, they get their walks and exercise, and it also frees up time for the parents to be able to do all the stuff they have on their to-do list.”
In addition to walking and looking after dogs for pet owners, Rentz & Rover Pet Services also provide wellness services, including pet reiki, canine essential oils, pet wellness coaching, and rainbow bridge support. They even offer a pet taxi service.
“If your dog or cat needs a trip to the vet, and you don’t have transportation, [we’ll take them], Rentz explained.
