The Morinville Jets continued their winning ways Sunday night, extending their winning streak to three straight games after shutting out the visiting Strathcona Bruins 5-0.
The Jets led the night 1-0 after one, a score that remained the same after another 20 minutes. But the Jets piled on another four in the final frame to take the game 5-0.
Sunday’s win, the Jets’ only game this past week, brings their record to 8-3-1. With 17 points, the Jets sit in fourth place in the CJHL’s West Division, one point behind the third-ranked North Edmonton Red Wings and three points behind the top-seated Beverly Warriors.

The Jets play the Royals on the road Wednesday night, then face the Regals at home Sunday, Nov. 6 at 7:30 p.m.
