A Military History Living Library evening was held on the evening of Friday, November 4, at the Morinville Community Cultural Centre. It followed an earlier event for students in the afternoon.
During the evening, Quilts of Valour were presented to four veterans: Anick and Floyd Murrin, Gerry Morrow and Chris Marsden.
There were numerous displays.
Shawn Belisle and Don Belisle were in attendance with their book, My Mom is a Soldier. She wrote the book, and he illustrated it.
Mcpl Joe Bremner was also in attendance with his display and story of his grandfather John Robert Bremner.
