Morinville RCMP are currently on scene of a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision at the traffic circle at Villeneuve, Alta. Two heavy tanker trucks collided causing damage to the vehicles and traffic disruption to northbound traffic on Hwy 44 at Hwy 633. The trailers were damaged however are not leaking fluids.
No injuries resulted from the collision.
Motorists should expect to use another route to travel north of Hwy 44 from Hwy 633. Recovery efforts are being organized.
It is anticipated that it will take 4 hours for the roadway to be cleared.
