It has been our joy to serve the town of Morinville for the last eight years: six as Higher Grounds and two as New Beginnings. By spending and giving money here, you have enabled us to donate thousands of dollars to local charities such as JMMF, Victims Services, The Food Bank, Midstream Support, and The Boy Scouts—to mention just a few. In addition, we were able to give monetary gifts to individuals, families, and communities in emergency need. […]

As we head into the holiday season, most families will celebrate and enjoy Christmas but there are individuals and families in the Morinville area that are struggling to make ends meet. Just one layoff or injury is all it takes to cause a family despair at this time of year. […]
The Knights of Columbus St. Anne Council, on behalf of St. Jean Baptiste Catholic Parish and the Morinville Food Bank, are pleased to announce that they will be coordinating the Christmas Hamper Project for Morinville and District once again this year. Las year 109 hampers containing food and numerous children’s toys and gifts were distributed to needy families in the community as well as the Mearns and RQB areas. For the previous 38 years, we were residents of Morinville. We supported the businesses, festivals, schools, church, sports and everything else that is of value to a small town. […]
