Legal – RCMP Staff Sergeant Mac Richards brought a mixture of good and bad news to Legal Town Council Aug. 16. On the positive side, crime was down during the second quarter of 2010. On the negative side, after hours partying during Fête au Village was a problem again this year.

Legal – Council unanimously passed a new bylaw at its July 19 regular meeting, allowing the town to use the services of the Capital Region Assessment Services Commission (CRASC) for its assessment review hearings. Under the service, CRASC would provide Legal with trained assessment review board panellists to facilitate complaint hearings.
