Treaty Day offers Alexander a chance to look back and ahead

Alexander – Band members line up in the powwow grounds of Alexander First Nation on a Friday morning, each member of the band having their name checked against an official list. With the name found and suitable identification provided, a $5 bill is handed to an RCMP officer in red serge to pass on to the band member along with his firm handshake.
