Len Smith took this photo of the Morinville Farmers’ Market on Sunday. The last outdoor Market is on Oct. 2. After that, they will have we have a weekend Halloween/Pre-Christmas Market at the RendeVous on Oct 22 and 23 and their Christmas Markets at the MCCC on Nov 19 and 20, as well as Dec 4 and 11.

 

The Webb Family and Quinn’s Plumbing & Heating Ltd held the 2022 Fall Fun Golf Classic on Saturday at the Goose Hummock Golf Resort. There were 36 teams of 4 for a total of 144 people registered for the event.  The participants could decorate their carts in Golden Yellow and partake in the Best Costume contest. Golden Yellow is the colour for Childhood Cancer. The event is in support of the Morinville Marvelous Moms Adopt a Family at Christmas. The money goes towards providing struggling families with a meal and gifts. – Lucie Roy Photo

The Musee Morinville Museum has put together a display on the Queen with many souvenir items from her marriage and coronation.
Jeannette Bachand was busy placing the display in the showcase last week. Museum Attendant Donna Garrett said they still have a few more items to put on display with books and magazines on the Queen and the Royal family. The display should be up until November. – Lucie Roy Photos
