RCMP looking for robbery suspects

Morinville – RCMP are asking for the public’s help in solving a robbery and assault that took place Saturday evening.

The alleged incident took place around 5 p.m. and was reported to police later in the evening.

RCMP report a young male was walking behind Sobey’s when a white Dodge truck with tinted windows pulled up along side him. Four males exited the truck and one of the four punched the victim twice. The assailant then asked the victim for money and the young man complied.

The main suspect is described as a white male, approximately five-foot-ten to five-foot-eleven in height. He was wearing jeans, a white hoodie and white baseball cap.

The victim reports that he did not know the four males and no description of the other suspects was given to police.

Morinville RCMP are asking for the help of the public in solving this crime. Anyone with information is asked to call the Morinville RCMP at 780-939-4550 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
