RCMP looking for big screen boosting bandit

Morinville – Police are turning to the public for assistance in finding out stole a 64-inch plasma television from the back of a truck in broad daylight.

Morinville RCMP report the television, which was brand new in its packaging, was taken from the back of a pick-up truck parked in front of Carrie’s Hair Salon on 100 Avenue in downtown Morinville.

The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Feb. 27.

Police remind residents of the importance of not leaving valuable in their vehicles unattended.

Morinville RCMP are asking the public for help in solving this crime. Anyone with information about is asked to call the Morinville RCMP at 780-939-4520 or if they wish to remain anonymous, they can call Crime Stoppers.
