Morinville – Local residents are meeting at the Morinville Community Cultural Centre Wednesday afternoons for an opportunity to be in the best shape they can be. Weight Loss Champions is a program for those of us who are overweight with a BMI of greater than 35. Run by Lara Thompson of Pure Physique, the weekly program provides the motivation, the workout and the knowledge to choose well and get a little fitter. Participants are given a unique, individualized physical challenge as well as advice on a weekly dietary plan. Cost of the program is $56. Visit the Community Services Department at the community cultural centre for more information. The program runs weekly until May 30.
