Rescue efforts
The Morinville Fire Department’s Ladder 4 played an important role Monday night after a man fell some 15 feet at a business in the Sturgeon Industrial Park.

The ladder allowed EMTs to get the man down from an elevation of some 45 feet, and on to hospital.

The identity of the man and extent of his injuries was not known at press deadline. – Submitted Photo

Plenty of plants
Shelly and Mark Damon of Room by Room and Community Drop In Centre volunteer Elsie Stang look over one of the five carts of flowers and vegetable plants donated to the centre by High Q Greenhouses. The roughly 120 flats of plants, valued at more than $5,000 will low-income families have an opportunity to beautify their yards and fill their flower beds.

Room by Room donated their time and services to deliver the flowers to the drop in.
