Morinville – St. Jean Baptiste Festival 2012 kicks off Friday afternoon with the opening of Michael’s Midway at 3 p.m. This year’s festival takes place largely at the arena and curling club, but trails down 100 Avenue and 100 Street for Saturday’s parade and council breakfast. Saturday night will pull in the cultural centre as ’80s rockers Loverboy take to the stage.
