Thieves steal alcohol from Morinville restaurant

Morinville – Police responded Thursday morning to a complaint of a break-and-enter at the Albert’s Family Restaurant on 100 Avenue in Morinville.
The crime is believed to have been committed in the early morning. The criminals gained access to the restaurant and, once inside, stole liquor and beer from the restaurant.
Two young males were observed to acting suspiciously in the area around 5:15 a.m. and police believe they may have been involved in the crime.
The investigation is ongoing and Morinville RCMP are asking the public for help in solving this crime. Anyone with information is asked to call the Morinville RCMP at 780-939-4520 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477.
