Morinville – The Jets slumped further into the muck Sunday night with their third consecutive loss, this time to the basement-dwelling Stony Plain Flyers, currently the last place team in the CJHL with a 2-15-0 record.

The Jets lead the Flyers at the start of contest, ending the first period 2-1. That gap narrowed in the middle frame with the Jets and Flyers tied at three goals apiece The final period saw the Flyers ripple the Jets mesh to take the lead 4-3. It was a goal to which the Jets were unable to respond.

The club will be in the pink on the weekend, quite literally. The Annual Alumni Game takes place at 6 p.m. Nov. 24 and will be followed by a regular season game against the visiting Leduc Riggers at 8:30 p.m. The Jets will don pink jersey in support of Movember and prostate cancer research. Jerseys will be auctioned off at the game.
