Public Works is introducing two new initiatives in 2013.

Toilet Rebate

The Town of Morinville is offering a rebate to residents to encourage the replacement of old and inefficient toilets with low-flush or dual-flush toilets to reduce water consumption. The program provides a rebate of $75 on purchases and installation of new “WaterSense” labeled fixture. Only one rebate per household will be permitted. Please refer to the Morinville website to apply and for additional information or visit – St. Germain Place, 10125-101 Street to pick-up an application.

Spring Clean-up

Another new initiative for 2013 is a Spring Clean-up which will take place in conjunction with the Town-wide Garage Sale scheduled for the weekend of May 25-26. This event will allow residents to dispose of large items that would normally require disposal at the landfill. There will be more information on this event advertised in early May so mark your calendar!
