Jets head to game four Wednesday night

Morinville – The Morinville Jets take to the road Wednesday night for game four of their best-of-seven semi-final series with the Edmonton Royals.

The Jets entered the series a week ago with a home-ice victory over the Royals. This past weekend saw the Jets lose 5-2 to the Royals on the road but redeem themselves Sunday night with a 4-2 home-ice victory. With the series sitting 2-1 in the Jets’ favour, a road victory Wednesday night would put the club one away from taking the series.

Regardless of the outcome Wednesday night, the Jets return home for game five Friday night at 8:30 p.m. at the Ray McDonald Sports Centre.

While the Jets / Royals series has yet to be fully decided, the Chiefs / Regals series was wrapped up Tuesday night with Spruce Grove’s fourth consecutive win against the Beaumont Chiefs to give them their ticket to the five-game CJHL finals.
