Flowers for floods
Judy Sweeney was at Notre Dame School June 26 to buy some geraniums in aid of those affected by recent flooding. Notre Dame staff worker Elaine Zinger donated more than 300 plants, including tomato, herbs, strawberry plants and geraniums. She wanted to do something for the flood victims. The Flower for Floods Service Project will see proceeds above the cost of soil and pots donated to the Canadian Red Cross Flood Relief Fund. The plants were available on the last two days of school. – Lucie Roy Photo
