The Morinville Senior AA Kings fell 5-2 to the Lacombe Generals on the road Saturday night.
The loss brings the Kings to a 2-1-1 record four games into the season.
The Kings came out in the first period trailing 1-0 but saw that deficit trailing 4-2 after two. Another 20 minutes did little to help the Kings, the game ending 5-2 in Lacombe’s favour.
The Kings have another two road games before returning to home ice. They play Devon on the road on Otg. 22 and Westlock on the road on Oct. 29. The next home game is on Nov. 5 against Devon at 8 p.m.
