MCHS Sr. Girls host tournament this weekend

Morinville Community High School is welcoming seven teams to join them for the 23rd Annual MCHS Sr. Girls Invitational Tournament Feb. 3 nd 4.

MCHS will be joined by R. F Staples from Westlock, Beaumont Composite, Lillian Osborne from Edmonton, John Maland High School from Devon, Ponoka Secondary, Cold Lake High School, and Wetaskiwin Composite High School to compete in a dozen games over the two days. […]

Former MCHS student fundraising for humanitarian trip to Ecuador

A former MCHS student is seeking $6000 in financial support to attend a four-week program in Ecuador, which is a pre-medical trip specific to her career.

Haley Stang told Rotary Club of Morinville members during her Feb. 17 presentation the proposal is with EcuaExperience, a Canadian based company offering Pre-Medical and Volunteer Programs.

Notre Dame Kindergarten students had the opportunity to learn how to build a birdhouse from kits supplied by Home Hardware. Manager Mike Porlier (Mr. Mike to the students) instructed students on building, air circulation, cleaning and how to make claw marks inside the birdhouse so young birds can get a better grip as they learn to get out of the house.
