Morinville – Halloween put an unwanted candy in the St. Albert Merchant’s pillowcase Sunday afternoon. The Jets (6-7-1) pulled out of a 5-2 deficit at the end of the second period to take the game 6-5, their second come-from-behind victory over the Merchants this season. The Jets had previously overcome a 5-0 deficit in St. Albert’s barn Oct. 1 to win the game 6-5.

County commits $400,000 to make voice heard

Sturgeon County – After a one hour in-camera briefing Tuesday morning on the Heartland Transmission Project (HTP), Sturgeon County Council voted unanimously to commit up to $400,000 to participate in the Alberta Utility Commission’s (AUC) quasi-judicial hearing set to take place in the spring of 2011.
