Police Briefs: Grain theft in the county

Sometime between 2 p.m. May 20 and 10 a.m. May 21 an unknown person or persons took 600 bushels of Canola from a farm located on Township Road 245 in Sturgeon County. The Canola was loaded into a truck using the farm’s grain auger, already under the bin. The complainant noticed a suspicious tandem axle grain truck in the area during the same time frame.
