RCMP saw a decline in the number of traffic infractions and traffic-related criminal offences over the Easter long weekend compared tot he same period in 2015.

Homicides up 80% in 2015, RCMP report

A spike in homicides resulted in RCMP working in overdrive and overtime last year. In 2015, investigators responded to 65 homicides compared to 36 in 2014.
